5 - User notes (known deviations)
---------------------------------

* The Smart Card Resource Manager is not Plug and Play on Windows NT4.
This is a system limitation. You *must reboot* your system after a
reader installation to be able to use it.

* This driver does not support Plug and Play requests nor power
management. This is a limitation of Windows NT4 and Microsoft's
  Smart Card Resource Manager.

6. Troubleshooting
-------------------
If the previously described procedure didn't succeed in installing or
updating the driver, please

1- Verify that GemPC Card is totally inserted in the PCMCIA port.

2- Open the Device Manager,
click on the "Smart card readers" group and
check the state of the Gemplus GemPCCard Card Reader.
If a cross appears, select the reader,
click on property in the menu and
check the line "de-activate in this material profile" and
   contact the support.
